Grooming Position Opening- 5/11/2010

We currently have a part/full time position open in our grooming department.

 We would like at least 2 years experience of hands on grooming.

 Must have knowledge in all breed grooming, using techniques of clipping and scissoring, animal behavior, able to provide superior customer service in verbal communication, listening and meeting the needs of the pet owner.

 Attention to details, attendance and patience is very important. 

Duties include:

• Evaluate the pet by inspection and discuss the style, expectation and instruction of the pet owner at time of check in.

   

• Bathing, brushing, trimming, de-matting, drying, scissoring, clipping, and filing nails, ear cleaning, removal of fleas, ticks, anal gland expression and using products according to breed anatomy and specifications.
